Budget and Grants

The Tillamook County Commission on Children & Families receives state, federal and private foundation grants for distribution to community-based agencies and organizations. Grant sources include:

Oregon Commission on Children & Families (OCCF): allocates state and federal funds to Tillamook County for services and support to children age 0-18 and their families.
Criminal Justice Commission Juvenile Crime Prevention (JCP): allocates state funds to Tillamook County for services and supports to prevent juvenile crime.
Oregon Office of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Prevention (OADAP): allocates federal funds to Tillamook County for planning and services to prevent and treat drug and alcohol use by youth and adults.
National Institute of Mental Health/Oregon Social Learning Center (NIMH/OSLC): allocates federal funds to Tillamook County for creating a sustainable infrastructure with an ongoing capacity for community self-evaluation, including assessment of child and family service systems.
Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP): allocates federal funds to Tillamook County for coordination of early intervention services for at-risk youth, ages 10-17 and their families.
Oregon Community Foundation (OCF): allocates private foundation funds to Tillamook County for early childhood literacy programs through its Oregon Ready to Learn funds.
