State law requires the court to report its monthly revenue and distribution of revenue to various city, county, and state agencies. The distribution of revenue is determined by state law, as enacted by the Oregon Legislature.
We are now able to post that report on our web page, beginning in 2009.
The court's financial activities are audited annually by the county's independent auditing firm of certified public accountants. That report is contained in the County Treasurer's annual financial report.
The Oregon Department of Revenue also has the ability to audit a court's financial records for purposes of determining compliance with state law. Such an audit was performed on the court's books several years ago and the court was in compliance.
