The buyer will receive a Tax Deed and there will not be a closing. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to do your due diligence before making an offer. The parcel information sheets included in the lists above are a good starting point and the County's interactive mapping tool is useful. Key considerations include:
title searches (County Clerk's office)
land use/buildability (Department of Community Development or municipality if within limits of a city)
property tax assessment (Assessorís office)
municipal/utility liens (buyer will be responsible for all of those)
roads (County Road Department and/or municipality if within limits of a city), etc.
