As Director of the Commission on Children and Families, Marlene is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating programs and services of the Commission in the development of the comprehensive plan for youth, prenatal through 18 years and their families. Marlene also applies for and assists community partners in applying for grant funding to meet County and community needs. Other responsibilities include budget management and fiscal record monitoring to assure compliance with funding, auditing and monitoring sources; supervision and coordination of work activities of support staff; representing children and families programs in the community while promoting community awareness and interest in the Commission; and provides administrative coordination in the planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of commission programs which includes staff support to Commission committees and initiatives, local government and other providers.
As Grant Compliance Assistant, Shane provides administrative assistance in planning and coordinating department and service provider programs; provides assistance in budget accountability, research and analysis, and grant coordination; and helps to supervise, coordinate and prioritize work activities of support staff.
As an Office Specialist II, Donna provides administrative assistance in
the design and composition of meeting minutes, meeting planning, correspondence, forms,
spreadsheets, letters, and reports. Donna also assists with research by
compiling and summarizing information used to prepare reports and charts, as
well as planning and facilitating TCCCF projects like Youth Recognition,
Tools for School and Undie Sunday.
