Siren Testing
Second Monday of each month
between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
The test produces a short siren blast, usually lasting less than a minute,
but sometimes lasting a full 3 minutes.

Disclaimer for the tsunami link:  Note this data was compiled from GIS overlays that show the SB379 tsunami inundation line along selected area of Tillamook County coastline. These data maps have been overlaid on top of a 2000/01 aerial photograph of the coast. Note that the SB379 line was originally mapped in 1995 and published as a series of DOGAMI open-file-reports for various cities along the coast. This data is NOT an official map and should only be used as a guide. The official map can be accessed via DOGAMI website:

 NON-TSUNAMI HAZARD AREA MAPS

Communities not mapped are NOT considered to be in a Tsunami High Hazard Zone. Safe areas are located anywhere 1 mile or more inland from the coastline. If you are within a mile of the beach go to higher ground. Anywhere over 50 feet is considered safe. However, if you are along a river, creek or slough go to higher ground since there will be some run up along these areas.
