At this time, we are only able to test birds from the Corvidae family (crows, ravens, jays). Specimen birds for testing must be intact and "fresh" - NOT hit by a car or otherwise mutilated, and have died within the last 24 hours.

If you find a bird that meets this criteria, please double-bag and freeze it, and contact the Environmental Health Office at 503-842-3902 or 503-842-3909. If you report a dead bird after hours or on weekends, we will respond during regular business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
