Tillamook County Commissioners signed an amendment to Dog Control Ordinance #64 on November 25, 2009.  This amendment provides for an increase in fees. 

Amended Tillamook County Dog Control Ordinance #64

According to Tillamook County Ordinance#64, all dogs in Tillamook County must be licensed.

There are three locations to license dogs.  Unless you live in the city of Tillamook or Bay City you will register your dog at the County Court House.

1) City of Tillamook Police Department, located on the corner of Madrona Avenue and Third Street.

2) City of Bay City at the City Hall, located at 5525 B Street in  Bay City

3) County Clerk's office in the County Courthouse in the city of Tillamook

• To license your dog for the first time bring in a valid rabies vaccine certificate.  You can get this from your Vet.
• At the beginning of each year we will mail a letter reminding you to renew the license.  This letter will show the rabies expiration date. 
• To renew a license please check the date to determine if it is current.  If not you need to file a new certificate with our office.
• Dogs can be licensed through the mail or by coming to the County Clerk's office.
• If you wish to renew a license through the mail, please make your check payable to the Tillamook County Clerk.  Send payments to: Tillamook County Clerk, 201 Laurel Avenue, Tillamook, OR 97141
• If you have recently reached Senior Citizen status (65), please provide us with proof (drivers license) of your age so we may verify your date of birth to give you the Senior Citizen discount.
• To receive the a discount for a dog that has been spayed or neutered we must have written proof from the veterinarian.
