Concealed Weapons Permit Fingerprinting

The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office is here for your fingerprinting needs. We use a high quality, non-ink, live-scan process.

Please note:

  • Children are not allowed in the fingerprint area, and are not allowed to be left unattended in the lobby. This is a Correctional Facility and a Probation Office; violent offenders and sex offenders may be in public areas at any given time.

  • Please dress appropriately. You will enter into the Jail for fingerprinting. Attire should not be suggestive, sexually provocative, or gang-related. No short shorts or tank tops. Failure to comply will result in the rescheduling of your appointment.

  • You will be required to place all property (handbags, purse, coats, hats, cell phone, electronic devices, etc.) in your vehicle or visitor’s locker provided in the public reception area.
     

New & Transfer Concealed Weapons Applicants

You MUST be a resident of Tillamook County or own property in Tillamook County to apply. ​

Please bring the following REQUIRED documents to your appointment:​

  • CHL Application
  • Drivers License showing you are a resident of Tillamook County
  • Proof that you've taken a Handgun Safety Course
  • Passport (Current) or State Certified Birth Certificate.

Renewal Applicants

Renewal applicants who already possess a permit with Tillamook County need to make an appointment.  Please visit our office during regular business hours to complete your renewal.

Please bring all required documents with you:​

  • CHL Application
  • Drivers License showing you are a resident of Tillamook County
  • Tillamook County Concealed Weapons Permit
  • Passport (Current) or State Certified Birth Certificate.
     

Public Prints (Not for Concealed Weapons Applicants)

The Sheriff's Office also provides non-criminal fingerprinting services to the public. Citizens who need to have their fingerprints taken for purposes of employment, license applications, expunging records, etc., please select a time slot under Public Prints when Booking your Fingerprinting Appointment.

Cost: $30 for the first two cards (cash, check, or money order), (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express with a $2.00 convenience fee).

The person being fingerprinted must bring valid government-issued photo identification. If identification issued by a foreign government is used, it must be accompanied by a valid passport.
